Sitting is the New Smoking!

 

In the same way that smoking negatively affects your health, poor posture over time will affect your spine, joints and muscles. Good posture is the foundation to good flexibility, proper breathing, core activation and correct body mechanics. By assessing our alignment we can better understand the habits that are causing those misalignments and ultimately chronic pains. Discontinue those habits along with corrective exercises will restore balance of proper length tension of healthy muscles and allowing the body to move with ease.  When we understand how to correct our posture, we not only look instantly better, but we also are preventing premature aging, chronic pains and unnecessary injuries.
